Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas...we certainly did!  My in-laws came in from PA the 19th and left on the 28th.   Our daughter was here, our daughter-in-law and bearded dragon came on the 20th, and our son and grandpups got here Friday evening!  We had a house full and LOVED it!  Lots of fun, laughter, and good eats!  All have gone home and it's very quiet here!

QKR Stampede Challenge #276 - Snowman/Snowflakes or ATG

WOW, the last Friday of 2017...did this year just fly by or is it me?  I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, we certainly did!  All is quiet at our house now, everyone has gone home.  Do y'all have plans for New Years Eve?  We'll go out to eat somewhere then home for the night!

Our challenge this week at QKR Stampede is snowman/snowflakes or ATG.  I chose Skinny Snowman, imported him into Silhouette Studio to print and cut out, colored with copics, and clear wink of stella on him.  I cased this card I found on Pinterest.  The swing card was cut out on my Cameo and came from the Silhouette Store, as were the snowflakes.  DP is Bazzill Basics Nordic Pines 6x6 pad and cream cs that I used vintage photo distress ink on.  The jute from Hobby Lobby and the sentiment computer generated.

Can you believe only THREE days until Christmas?  How many of you are all ready?  I finished my shopping AND wrapping last week!  My in-laws are here from PA celebrating with us...we are ALL so excited!  I do have a house full PLUS my two grandpups and grand bearded dragon!  They wanted to bring the snake but, I drew the line on that one...NO WAY!!

Anyhow on to our challenge this week at QKR Stampede.  Our theme this week is Santa or ATG.  I chose Large Santa List and Name Ain't There.  I colored Santa with copics, cut out with SB small scalloped rectangle die, mixture of fun flock/flower soft on the fur, puffy velvet fabric mark heated on his beard, and gold wink of stella on his buckle.  The sentiment is cut out with SB small scalloped square die.  Striped paper from Recollections Bright Christmas 6x6 pad, green cs from Craft Smith greens 12x12 pad, ribbon from Offray, and charm from my stash.

It's hard to believe it's the 15th of December already!  Only TEN days until Christmas and 16 days and this year will be OVER!! Where has the time gone to?  This weeks challenge at QKR Stampede is Christmas Cards or ATG.  I chose Snow Couple and I am going to give this to my son and dil!  The layout is for Sketch Saturday #493.  I colored them with copics, a mixture of fun flock/flower soft for the fur on their hats, and frosted lace stickles on them as well as the snow.  The snowflake dp is from Recollections Bright Christmas 6x6 pad and the cs from my stash.  Fiskars punch, sequins from my stash, snowflake charm from Stampin' Up!, twine from Hobby Lobby, and red snowflakes are from a Martha Stewart border punch.

Naked Stamping - No Coloring

The new challenge at Catch The Bug is "Naked Stamping - No Coloring"!  Glad the clarified the no coloring part!  HAHA!  I chose Snowflake Reindeer Silhouette  and made it into a shaker card (my favorite!).  I used a pre-made rectangle pop up from Queen & Co. and added silver, gold and black sequins from my stash.  I cut out a gold metallic poster board frame on my Cameo and heat embossed Christmas Wishes sentiment from Stampin' Up! with black opaque embossing powder by Zing.  The black glitter cs is from Doodlebug Designs.

Mikki's Birthday

Our great niece's birthday is next week and she is into gymnastics.  I found this adorable image on Pinterest and had to use it!  It is pre-colored, cut out with The Stamps of Life large stitched circle die, and matted with SB large scalloped die.  I used Die Cuttin Diva's sketch, which is use any from the 2017 challenges (I chose March).  Plaid paper from Lawn Fawn perfectly plaid rainbow 6x6 pad and the others by Bo Bunny.  Flower gems and centers are from my stash.

I'm a day late posting Day 5 of Catch The Bug's Holiday Chaos which is "Make it Funny".  My sister-in-law has had a rough week and I thought this might cheer her up a bit!  I chose JJ Christmas Box.    I colored her with copics, cut out with Lawn Fawn large stitched rectangle die, glossy accents on her glasses, clear star jelly pen on her glasses frame, bracelets, and packages, clear Wink of Stella on the red package, and green gems from Recollections on her boots.  Red cs from Bazzill, lime green from The Paper Studio basics 12x12 pad, and package paper from The Paper Studio Four Seasons 8.5x11 pad.

Holiday Chaos Day 3

Day 3 over at Catch the Bug is to make a gift/gift holder.  I cut out a money card holder on my Cameo and then colored Christmas Trio Blocks with copics...aren't they adorable?  I used clear Wink of Stella on the snowman's face and the reindeer's ornaments, glossy accents on the holly berries, Santa's glasses and Rudolph's nose.  A mixture of fun flock/flower soft for the fur on Santa's hat, heated puffy velvet fabric paint for Santa's beard, and googly eyes for Rudolph.  To/From stamp in festive berries distress ink.

Bugaboo Friday Freebie

My daughter has had a rough week at work, so I thought this freebie from Bugaboo Stamps might cheer her up (never mind she is off all next week!).  This is Ruby Bubble Trouble... I colored her with copics and cut out with Lawn Fawn large stitched square die.  I used my heat gun on puffy velvet fabric marker for the soap suds, clear star jelly roll pen on the bubbles as well as glossy accents on them, the wineglass, wine bottle, spilt wine, and her glasses, and sea glass stickles for her earrings.  Bubble digi paper from Etsy, sentiment came with the image, wine charm from Charm Along, ribbon by Offray.

The layout is for Tuesday Morning Sketches #428.  The moose paper is actually wrapping paper that I found online and printed off (works perfect I think!), red snowflake paper from Recollections Christmas collection, and blue cs from Craft Smith.  The bells are from my stash that I strung on some gold thread from Stampin' Up!

Today's card is for my niece's 11th birthday in a couple weeks!  This was her first year to play softball and she loved it!  She also moved from playing outfield to second base!  I chose Ava Baseball Sitter from Bugaboo, which I imported into Silhouette Studio to add Devils on the flag and 51 on her jersey.  The layout is for Stella Says Sketch #518 and I also CASEd Lola's card at Little Card Maker.  I colored her with copics, fussy cut out, popped up with Scotch mounting foam, white dots on her cheeks from a gelly roll pen, and clear star gelly roll pen on the flag.  Lawn Fawn large stitched square die, Impression Obsessions  cloud die, and Fiskars scalloped punch.  Baseball paper from Scrappin' Sports, pink cs from Craft Smith pinks and reds, and black cs from my stash.  Happy Birthday stamped with Color Box pink from the twilight pad and heat embossed with clear embossing powder (I know it's crooked...but it was too late! Duff's Birthday

Our challenge this week at QKR Stampede is Halloween or ATG.  I chose RIP (#14313), which I made a mask to sponge in the night sky (my first time doing!), then colored my image with copics, and clear star gelly roll pen for the cobweb.  I'm very please with how the sky turned out!  I used stormy sky, concord grape, and black soot distress ink.  I cut the ghosts out of vellum on my Cameo, stamped their faces with Peachy Keen Basic Paper Doll Face stamp, and embossed with Zing black embossing powder.

QKR Stampede #266 - ATG

Happy Friday everyone!  This weeks challenge at QKR Stampede is ATG with NO twist.  I chose Trick or Treat and Halloween Fun (cut the ghost and leaves off).  I imported them both into Silhouette Studio to print and cut out.  They are both colored with copic markers.  I CASEd my friend Cely's cards for the layout.  The DP is from Doodlebug Design October 31st 6x6 pad and black cs from The Paper Studio.  I used Queen & Co. foam circle pop ups for the shaker part and cut the frame around it on my Cameo.  Sequins and beads from my stash as is the witches hat button, and orange and black bakers twine (not sure where it's from but assuming Target as it is marked $1).  Sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmies Halloween sentiments, stamped with versa mark, memento black ink, and embossed with clear embossing powder.
